From the Bride: A year (and a lifetime fantasy) of wedding planning was the best experience of my life. Together with our families we were able to create the most spectacular day we could have ever imagined. What we enjoyed, okay who am I kidding, what I enjoyed most was taking visions from my mind and Pinterest and making them a reality. Being an event planner as my career, I wanted every detail of our day to be perfect and meaningful. We were able to do some DIY projects in combination with our amazing vendors to do everything in our vision. Our ceremony was carefully crafted between our Pastor and us and our desire was to make it personal, musical, emotional and unique. Personal vows were very important to us, and those are words we will cherish forever. Between our vows and the music there wasn’t a dry eye in the church.
We transformed the Marriott atrium into a Hollywood soiree with cafe lights, live jazz music, delicious hor d’oeuvres and signature cocktails. The Marriott ballroom was transformed into a fairytale setting with draping, chandeliers, gorgeous flowers and the largest dance floor ever – perfect for our choreographed first dance. Our cake was one of my favorite pieces of our wedding as it replicated my dress and was a beautiful surprise to my husband. Garnished with vibrant and romantic flowers and placed on a glitzy gold tablecloth – it was stunning. <3
Even though we were blessed with undesirable weather and a tornado warning, what we were truly grateful for was the love, joy and incredible moments we will never forget. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical day!
