From the photographer: Sarah & Ryan planned a gorgeous New Year’s Eve wedding. Ryan’s brother Chris had spent a long time working with events at the Orpheum, so they chose this gorgeous location because they were planning the wedding from the East coast and could use his help along the way. They incorporated an amazingly sparkly array of details that made my inner sparkle-lover squeeeee! Sarah’s gown was covered in shimmery beadwork, her heels were covered in silver glitter, and her bridesmaids were adorned in gold Badgley Mischka Rent the Runway sequin gowns. The tablescapes glowed in glimmering gold tones, which fit perfectly within the warm vintage setting of the theater.
All the guests got popcorn before they sat down. Then Sarah and Ryan kicked off their movie-inspired celebration with their very own feature film on the big screen before they walked down the aisle. After the ceremony, the East-coast style reception began with their first dance, and continued with alternating sets of meal courses, toasts, and dancing. Oh, and in lieu of cutting a cake, they had cupcakes delivered to their table with sparklers in them! One of the most touching moments was Sarah’s mom reading her one last bedtime story, all about how she found her own prince charming. By midnight, the whole room was having a blast and ready to ring in 2015!
