From the Photographer: Greg and Cassie got married on a warm day in late May. The easy, warm weather matched their personalities perfectly! We can’t think of two more warm and inviting people. What we loved about photographing was all of the large and small details that were so unique to these two. For one, the kilts! We can’t get enough of the traditional Scottish attire worn by not only the groom and the groomsmen, but also the father of the bride and the father of the groom, and many guests as well! In place of an exchange of rings, there was a lovely hand-fasting ceremony with a piece of tartan cloth. We also loved the thoughtfully placed yard games and hand-canned wedding favors and the BBQ-style lunch of this late morning/early afternoon wedding. It’s hard to pick the things that we enjoyed most about this wedding, but what was really special was working with these two as they planned and pulled off a wedding day that was so individual to the two of them!
