From the Bride: My goal for our wedding day was to have a very classic and traditional vibe while trying not to feel too formal. I think we really accomplished it. The look of our wedding was traditional, but we kept it personal with the decorations and style. I went with wedding colors that felt warm and inviting and decorations that incorporated things special to us as a couple.
The biggest piece of advice I have for future brides is to try not to get hung up on all the details of the wedding in the planning process. It can be so easy to get overwhelmed and be disappointed on the wedding day because things did not go as planned. My goal was to pick a few things that I really wanted to be detailed about and delegate everything else as much as I could. We had amazing vendors who make a living putting on beautiful weddings. Once I got myself to trust them and really let them take the lead everything got easier. The day is about the two of you and your love and it goes by faster than you can imagine.
