From Meghan of OFD Consulting:
“Andy proposed to Meg in the Wisconsin State Capitol after telling her they were going to a sports-memorabilia convention. “Luckily, that is not where we were going,” she says. Instead, he popped the question, and then they celebrated with both of their families that night in Madison.
Family and other loved ones played an important role in the couple’s June wedding, with the ceremony conducted by a priest who is an old family friend, and Meg’s sister Katherine planning the whole day. The bride’s brother made all of the printed materials, and Andy’s uncle built their card box. The color scheme incorporated pinks, dark greens, whites and wood elements, as well as many candles and twinkly lights in their industrial venue, the Lageret. “The sweets table was epic!” Meg says, and the ambiance at dinner felt “very magical.” Their main inspiration was letting their guests “instantly know that it was our wedding.”
For other couples planning their weddings, she advises getting a wedding planner. “Clover Events made our wedding beautiful and stress-free for the two of us.””
