From The Photographer:
“I first met Katie and Tim for their engagement session last year. Instantly I could tell they were super easy going (which is one of my favorite traits). During their session, they shared how they met and how they had moved to different states. But no matter where they ended up living they had each other’s support.
I continued to learn more about their plans for their wedding. Tim took Kate to this Airbnb barn in Blanchardville, WI for her birthday to get away from the big city (Chicago). They enjoyed the beauty of the location so much that they decided to have their wedding there. This being the barn’s first wedding, Katie worked together with local vendors to make their day magical. Katie collected dinner-wear from thrift stores for an entire year until she gathered enough for the reception dinner.
Making sure to keep everything local and environmentally friendly, their day was a perfect representation of what Kate & Tim stand for. The uniqueness and thoughtfulness that went into every detail of their wedding made it beyond special. It reflected the kind of people they are — kind, loving, and caring.”
